So I have to tell you, I am not one of those people who travels far and wide to find my size in a certain clothing item. Well i’m normally not that person. However, after you lose quite a bit of weight and you go shopping for the first time, you tend to lose your head. I was so excited to be able to finally do some shopping after not buying barely anything for the last two months. I found this TopShop top at Nordstrom in LA a few weeks ago and was beyond excited that for the first time ever, I was able to fit into something from TopShop! I found it at a Nordstrom near Pasadena and unfortunately they were out of my size. My dad was so gracious to drive me 45 minutes to the next nearest Nordstrom so I could buy the top. Talk about a contender for Father of the Year!

This journey has been so crazy and purchasing these pants was another win for me, personally. I found these at Old Navy and was so excited that they fit! I added a pair of black pumps and one of my favorite Tory Burch Robinson totes. Of course I couldn’t forget my nude colored blazer. I wear this outfit to work all the time and love how professional I feel and look.

I hope you all have a wonderful next couple of days. I am vacationing in the North East this week and can’t wait to explore all the beautiful sights. Feel free to shoot me recommendations of things I just HAVE to see! Also, a big happy birthday to my sister, Stephanie today. She turns 30! God bless!

// Dress: Lucca Couture // Purse: Tory Burch // Shoes: XOXO //

If you follow me on Social Media you will have seen that I chopped my hair off this past week. We are talking like cut off about 5 or more inches of my hair. It was a much needed change and I absolutely love it. That being said, pictures like these now make me miss my long hair. Well sort of. I shot this outfit last week and have been obsessing with it ever since. I found this orange pleated dress at Nordstrom the other day and the minute I saw it I knew I was going to buy it. I love the front pleats and the sleeves on it.

The material breathes and it is the perfect dress to finish out the summer with. I was also thinking it would look super cute for fall if I added some tights and booties. I will have a follow up post with that outfit in the coming weeks. Another great reason this has become one of my favorite dresses is because it does not show an ounce of cleavage. I am a very conservative person by nature and hate when something shows too much skin. I wish more people in today’s world shared my view on that.

Hope you all have a happy Monday! God bless!

Pink Summer Dress

Dress: Taylor from Norstrom via TJMaxx // Shoes: XOXO // Purse: Tory Burch // Necklace: J.Crew (similar here)

Who loves bright colors? I sure do! I think I have worn every bright colored outfit in my closet this summer. There is just something about this pink summer dress that makes me happy. Maybe it is because it’s pink and has pineapples on it. Yep, that must be it! It’s all about pink and pineapples. Another reason I love this dress is because it is a fit and flare dress. Meaning it is so flattering and feminine. Who doesn’t love to feel feminine? How could I forget, it is also very conservative. It has become increasingly hard to find dresses that cover everything in a cute fashion. So excited this dress has it all!

I added my new favorite nude cork wedges which only made this outfit that much better. I can’t wait to wear this outfit to an event or party. I just know that it will be the perfect choice for any occasion.

Hope you all have a great day! God Bless!
