It is officially Spring! Bring on all my favorite bright colors. Granted most of the Winter felt like Spring in California, I am happy that I can officially wear bright colors without anyone looking at me weird. I finally decided that it was time to go shopping for some new pants. Seeing as how all my other pairs now hang off of me. So I went to Old Navy to check out their ankle pants. I have never been able to wear Old Navy’s pants because they never fit me right before I started bootcamp. Well much to my surprise, they fit and I went down 2 whole sizes from where I was before.

Thrilled doesn’t even describe my excitement right now. I found these black and white pants immediate and knew I could pair them with a million things. I borrowed this yellow jacket from my mom and paired it with some new wedges from Target. I always borrow this jacket from my mom. It is one of my favorites and every time I go to my parents house, I feel like I wear it with something. Another awesome part about this outfit is the shoes. Dolce Vita is one of my favorite shoe brands and I am so excited that they partnered with Target for a line of shoes. They are comfortable and adorable. They go with everything. Jeans, work pants, dresses and skirts. Literally, everything! Want to see how I styled some other colored pants? Head here to see some.

Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! God bless!

As you all know, I am the queen of dresses. I have accumulated quite the amount over the years, and love all of them. Dresses have a way of making me feel so feminine and classy. There is just something about them. Well, it occurred to me that I own tons of spring and summer dresses. I actually own very few dresses that would be appropriate for winter. Sure I own some that I can wear all year long, but lets be honest, darker dresses are more appropriate for winter. I can’t believe I just said that. You know how much I love my bright colors.

I am always so excited to get to work with brands that I love and this post is featuring another one of those brands. Remember that awesome poncho I wore a few weeks ago from NYCollection? You can find that post here. Well, this dress is from the same company! Can you believe how pretty it is? The pattern, the colors, everything. It makes it all that more classy. I couldn’t forget my favorite booties and my bag that holds it all from Tory Burch. Top it off with a brown scarf from Helen & Louise and you’re set.

Hope you all have a happy Monday! God bless!

// Plaid Tunic: Bloomingdale’s // Leggings: Target // Booties: Macy’s // White Shirt: Target //

Any one who knows me, knows that I am an advocate for leggings. That being said, i’m an advocate for wearing them correctly and not wearing them as pants. However, when the opportunity presents itself for wearing them under a long tunic. I’m game.  I went shopping in Palo Alto a few weeks ago and wandered into Bloomingdales to see their new store. They recently redid the whole store and I can’t tell you enough, how amazing it is inside. It’s like walking into something you’d see in Paris. I couldn’t help but look at all the adorable clothes and stumbled upon this really cute blue and white longer shirt. Of course I had to buy it. it was so soft and my head was already spinning with ideas on what I could wear with it.

I posted a picture of an outfit I wore to my best friends baby shower, that included this top, on Instagram. You can check it out, here. For this outfit I paired it with black leggings, black booties and a white shirt underneath. This is one of my new go to outfits when I just want something comfortable to wear. I already have it pictured for when it rains, wearing it with my Hunter Boots. I mean, let’s be honest, they are pretty confident El Nino is going to happen so i’m preparing for it. Want to see another way I styled my Hunter boots? You can find that post here. Want to purchase a pair? Nordstrom has a great return policy if you end up not liking them so I purchased mine here.

Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! God bless!
