What a day! I tell you there is nothing a girl can’t concur when she has a killer outfit, Lipsense on her lips and her best friends by her side.

My friends and I had been planning this girls day for weeks. When you all have such chaotic schedules, it is nice to finally land in the same place. As if girl time wasn’t a big enough reason to celebrate, we also got to celebrate my best friend getting engaged!

She called me the other day after texting me that she had some major news, I immediately knew. We facetimed and on her finger was the most gorgeous ring. Words can’t describe how happy I am for her. She deserves nothing but the best and i’m so over the moon excited for her. It was a day of celebrations and one that I will be grateful for for a long time.

We started out the day at Southside in Napa, which is one of my favorite local restaurants to eat at. From there we wandered up to Yountville to taste some bubbles at Chandon. Another favorite of mine. Then we met up with my friend Sally and headed to R + D Kitchen. I tell you what, the Thai Steak Noodle Salad is quite amazing. I highly recommend it. Then it was off to more wine tasting and ending the day at Orin Swift.

Not a bad way to ring in fall if you ask me! I have to tell you, I felt extra sassy today while rocking my Lipsense lipstick. There’s just something about a bold lip that really makes you feel extra outgoing. I am wearing the color, Napa, because let’s be honest, how fitting is it that I live here!

I have partnered up with one of my old friends from high school, Oyre, to give you a discount code for some Lipsense of your own! I am always so shocked when after a full day of eating and drinking, my lipstick still looks good. It’s pretty cool, i’ll admit it. Here’s the really cool part, if you want to try Lipsense for yourself, Oyre and I are offering a 10% discount with the code Graceful10. All you have to do is go to her Facebook page, or her Instagram and mention Graceful10.

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday! God bless!

I have to admit, I was never really a fan of shopping for snow boots when I was a kid. Mainly because they are big, bulky and pretty uncomfortable. I always remember my parents taking my sister and I to Walmart or Target to find some boots before a big snow trip. I always appreciated their willingness to purchase Steph and I new boots every season. I’m sure it wasn’t always easy considering, my feet used to grow at a rapid rate. 🙂

A few years ago, I was headed up to winter camp with junior high students from my church. I was prepping for my trip and quickly realized I didn’t have any comfortable snow boots or ones that fit. I mildly freaked out because I was packing the day before as usual and was stressed I wouldn’t find a pair at the end of snow season. I ran to Target praying the whole way that they had something, anything, I could wear.

Much to my luck, I found these winter snow boots. How adorable are these? I love them. They are so comfortable and could not be more adorable. Immediately they reminded me of Sorel boots and I just knew these would be perfect. I took them to winter camp and they kept my feet super warm and dry. I got compliments on them all weekend and I was as happy as a clam. These are now my go to boots to take to the snow every time I go. They were perfect for this mountain adventure!

Hope you all have a great day! God bless!

Alright time to get nostalgic, Napa Valley will always hold a special place in my heart for many reasons. This is actually where I was vacationing when I first thought about starting this blog. I was walking through some vineyards with my mom and she said I just had to post this somewhere because my outfit was adorable with the vineyards. Fast forward a year or two and here we go. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Another reason this is one of my favorite places is because, like I mentioned in another post, I work in the wine industry. There is just something about Napa Valley that intrigues me, so I guess I picked a great line of work.

Now about this outfit, first off, can we just take in the breathtaking view in the first photo? That was taken from the resort I was staying at. Can you say gorgeous? This past week was all about wine tasting attire and this outfit was no different. The weather was perfect during the day but a little chilly in the morning and at night. I was excited that it wasn’t too hot to wear jeans. Where I live, has been way too hot for jeans lately, so I couldn’t wait to pull these out.

I found this top at Kohls a few months ago and love how it can take a pair of jeans and class them up a bit. I wear it to work all the time with black pants and love how professional it looks. I bought these jeans at my favorite store in my hometown, Helen & Louise and found these shoes at Macy’s. So happy I was able to take a few days off and truly unplug. It was great to spend time with family and take it all in.

Have a great day. God bless!
