Benefit Cosmetics

So for the longest time people have asked me how I get my eyeshadow to look the way that it does.. I decided a tutorial was a must.  Today I’m going to show you how to recreate this look.

First thing you want to do is cover your eye lids with your foundation. Make sure they are the same color as the rest of your face.
Next find a neutral color that is very close to your skin tone. I like the color Beige from Bobbi Brown, it adds just the right amount of shimmer.
Next pick a base color that you want to use to blend with the other colors you are using.  I went for the traditional smokey eye today. For my base color I used a purple tinted shade from Sephora’s line called Fairy Princess.
I always start shading from the outside corner of my eye and work my way in, next I took the darker shade of purple which is called Fireworks from Sephora’s line and applied it on top of the lighter shade, also starting from the outside in.
Next take your eyeliner and use it across the bottom of your lid and on top, I like to use pencil on the bottom lid and liquid eyeliner on the top.  I used the color black on both lids and both the liquid eyeliner and pencil are from E.L.F. Cosmetics.
Finally, I add some mascara.  Mascara is a really awesome thing, especially if you find the right brand.  I was introduced to Benefit Cosmetics, They’re Real, mascara and have been obsessed ever since!!!
To add an extra finishing touch I used Benefit Cosmetics Sugarbomb blush and some Glossy Gloss lip gloss from Sephora.
This completes my morning eye routine using all these products!
Thanks for reading all about my daily makeup routine. Hope you enjoyed! Have a great day!!

Today I had extra time to get ready, which was shocking… Not really sure how it happened to be honest, either way I am excited for the way my hair and make up turned out!!! We will just call todays look, curls and smoke.
Everyone knows i’m a fan of smokey eyes! Today was no different!
For my hair, I curled it just like normal, then twisted two sections of it on each side and made this adorable style.
Close up!
Who doesn’t love a great hair do that involve messy curls and bobby pins? I sure do. I can’t tell you how many times a week I curl my hair and absolutely loved when I happened to create this look. As I mentioned, I actually had time to to spend a little extra time for TLC on my hair today. This was the result. I will be wearing this to work, class and out on the town. It is the perfect combination of classy and trendy. Not too crazy but not too boring. Just the right amount of both.
Hope you all have a wonderful day! God bless!

I can’t belive I am doing this! I do not think I have ever taken such close up photos without make up! However, I want everyone to see how easy it is to recreate my look! Hope this make up tutorial helps you if you need it.

Step 1: Apply foundation to your face to make your skin look evenly fresh.
Step 2: Then apply a light colored eye shadow all over the lid of your eye.
Step 3: Take a brown colored eye shadow and apply it to the crease of your eye.
Step 4: Take a fun color, like green and add it the small top part of your lid.
Step 5: Add some eyeliner to the bottom of your eye.
Step 6: Dont forget the mascara! Dont laugh either, but I seriously do blowdry my eyelashes after putting on mascara!
Step 7: Put mascara on your bottom lashes!
Step 8: You’re DONE!!!
Its a long process but it pays off once you’re done! 🙂 Have a great rest of the day!
